ELIGIBILITY: The Esusu Tax Preparation Offer (the “Offer”) is open to: (i) legal residents of the 50 United States (includes DC) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of participation and (ii) who are Esusu Resident Portal users. Employees of Sponsor, April Tax Solutions Inc. (“April”), and its affiliates and vendor agencies involved in the Offer are NOT eligible to participate; nor are the immediate family members (parent, spouse, child, sibling) of such employees, as well as members of the immediate household of such employees, whether or not related. Offer is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
OFFER PERIOD: The Offer consists of two separate offers. Offer #1 is available to the first one-thousand (1,000) eligible participants, and includes free use of the April tax preparation software and a $10 Promotional Gift Card from Tremendous.com. Offer #1 begins on February 1, 2024 and expires at 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (“ET”) on April 15, 2024, or when the supply of 1,000 free tax preparations has been utilized by eligible participants, whichever occurs first. In the event that Offer #1 expires prior to 11:59 p.m. ET on April 15, 2024 (i.e., 1,000 free tax preparations have been claimed by eligible participants), Offer #2 will immediately begin with the expiration of Offer #1. Offer #2 includes use of the April tax preparation software for a discounted rate of $25.00 per tax filing. Offer #2 expires on 11:59 p.m. ET on April 15, 2024.
OFFER REDEMPTION: To redeem the Offer, please visit the Esusu Resident Portal, and click on the Offer link. The first 1,000 eligible participants who complete their personal tax filing using April will not be charged for the use of the April tax preparation and filing software and will receive a $10 gift card from Tremendous.com (i.e., Offer #1). Gifts cards will be fulfilled on a weekly basis via email using the email address on file for the eligible participant in the Esusu Resident Portal.
In the event that 1,000 eligible participants claim Offer #1 prior to 11:59 p.m. ET on April 15, 2024, the Esusu Resident Portal will inform eligible participants that Offer #1 has expired and that Offer #2 has started. Eligible participants who use the April tax preparation and filing software under Offer #2 will receive a discounted, flat-fee rate of $25.00 per tax filing.
Limit one (1) tax filing per person during the Offer Period. Offer is not transferable, and no cash-outs will be provided. No substitutions unless determined in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Tremendous.com gift cards subject to standard terms and conditions.
April is an AI-powered tax preparation and filing software. Offer applies only to non-corporate/organization tax filings (i.e., single, married filing jointly, married filing separately, head of household, qualifying widow(er) with dependent child). Offer only applies to fees associated with tax preparation and filing. Eligible participants are responsible for all federal, state, local, and other taxes (if any) determined to be owed by the filer. The standard, non-discounted retail value to use the April tax preparation and filing service is $59. Use of April tax preparation and filing software is subject to standard terms and conditions, available at https://www.getapril.com/legal-filer.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in this Offer, participant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, April, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional and service agencies, independent contractors, and the officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of any of the above organizations (the “Released Parties”) from any injury, loss, or damage to person, including death, or to property due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly, to the acceptance or use/misuse of the Offer, participation in any Offer-related activity, or participation in the Offer.
Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the Offer, administration of the Offer, or errors relating to the announcement of eligibility or qualification for the Offer. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify, cancel, or suspend this Offer, or to amend the Terms & Conditions at any time, without prior individual notice, should any factor interfere with the administration, security, or proper play of this Offer as contemplated by these Terms & Conditions.
PUBLICITY AND MARKETING: Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Offer constitutes participant’s consent to Sponsor’s use of participant’s name, biographical data, and likeness for advertising, promotion, or marketing purposes, as permitted by law, without additional notice, compensation, or consent.
